The Cellular Potts Model in Biomedicine

In this chapter we describe how the the Cellular Potts Model has been applied to problems in the biomedical field. Examples are given in epi- dermal biology, cancer and vasculogenesis. They demonstrate the strength of the CPM and its rich set of extensions, in elucidating biomedically important phenomena.  doi:10.1007/978-3-7643-8123-3_6
